Land information

What is Khatian?

The land record prepared at the time of survey containing the details of the land holdings of one or more individual landowners based on Mauza is called Khatian.


What is C, S record?

CS stands for Cadastral Survey. The first district wise map and land record prepared in our country is called CS record.


What is S,A Khatian?

The khatian prepared by the government after the promulgation of the Zamindari Acquisition and Land Ownership Act in 1950 is called SA khatian.


What is Namzari?

If someone is a new owner of a land through inheritance or purchase or any other process, the process of registering his name is called Naam Zari.


What is deposit rejection?

Jama Kharij means to create a new khatiyan by dividing the joint deposit. Due to the transfer or distribution of any land belonging to the people, a new holding or khatian is opened with some land from the original khatiyan.


What is paper?

The copy of the khasra khatian prepared during the land survey and distributed to the land owner before tasdik or attestation is called mahat parcha. After the certificate is attested or tasdik by the revenue officer and the khatian is published in full after hearing objections and appeals, the copy is called parcha. .


What is the schedule?

Schedule means a detailed description of the land. To identify the land, the description containing the name of the concerned mouza, khatian no, dag no, boundaries of the land, amount of land etc. is called a schedule.


What is Mouza?

During the cadastral survey, each police station area is divided into units and each unit is marked with a serial number.


What is the fee?

The land tax collected by the government from the citizens on an annual basis for the use of land is called land tax.


What is waqf?

Waqf is a donation of a property by a Muslim land owner for the purpose of bearing the expenses of religious and social welfare institutions according to Islamic law.


What is Motwalli?

The person who manages and supervises waqf property is called Motwalli. Motwalli cannot transfer waqf property without the permission of waqf administrator.
